Lawn Care across the West Midlands

A good lawn is mostly down to how it is cut. The right height for the season, cut often enough that you are never taking too much off at once, and a clean edge to finish it. Get that consistent and most lawns look after themselves.

How the job runs

  1. Look at the lawn

    A walk-through of the lawn and any problem areas, so we can see what state the grass is actually in.

  2. Agree the plan

    A clear, agreed task list and a sensible cutting frequency for the size and condition of the lawn.

  3. Cut and edge

    Mown at the right height for the season and edged properly, the same way each visit.

  4. Leave it tidy

    Clippings cleared, paths and edges left clean and presentable.

Moss is a symptom, not the problem

Moss takes hold where grass is already struggling: shade, compacted ground, poor drainage, or cutting too short. It is worth knowing what is behind it before spending money on the lawn, so tell us what yours is doing and we will give you an honest view.

Lawn Care questions

Through spring and summer, weekly or fortnightly keeps it even and avoids taking too much off in one cut. Growth slows in autumn and mostly stops over winter, so visits drop back or pause.

On most reasonably flat lawns, yes. Stripes come from the grass being bent in alternating directions as it is cut, so it depends on the mower and the lawn rather than anything being added to it.

Usually. Consistent cutting at the right height makes more difference than people expect. Where there is something else going on we will tell you what we think it is, rather than promising a result we cannot stand behind.

Just the lawn is fine. Plenty of customers book lawn care on its own, and others have it as part of a wider maintenance visit.
